Farrelli's Pizza - Post Game Destination

Tacoma, WA – The Sounders FC U-23 have announced a partnership with Farrelli’s Wood Fire Pizza for their official post game destination. Following each Sounders U-23 home match, the team and staff invite fans and friends to join them at the closest Farrelli’s Wood Fire Pizza location for food and drinks.

Farrelli’s Director of Marketing & Communications, Clayton Krueger said, “We are really excited about this partnership for a few reasons. First of all, the Sounders are a tremendous local organization. We have been season ticket holders for the MLS team since the inaugural season in 2009 and have become rabid fans as a result. Anything that the Sounders are affiliated with is first class, whether it be their first team, the reserve team, the women’s team, the occasional beach soccer team, and now this Sounders FC U-23.”

With locations in Lacey, DuPont, Sumner, Tacoma, Parkland, and a new restaurant in Maple Valley coming this summer, Farrelli’s is a tremendous fit for the Sounders U-23. The Sounders U-23 will play matches at Tumwater H.S., Franklin Pierce H.S., and Cheney Stadium this summer. Each match will have a Farrelli’s restaurant conveniently positioned nearby.

"We are very excited to partner with Farrelli’s, our new post game destination for the Sounders U23 team,” Sounders U-23 Coach & GM, Darren Sawatzky said. “Farrelli’s represents a great local business, and as South Sound’s team, we are ecstatic that they want to work with us.”

Clayton Krueger describes why the partnership is enticing to Farrelli’s, “To be affiliated on any level with such an outstanding brand is an honor. More important for us however, is the fact that many of the players on the U-23 side are college athletes, most of whom are from our region, trying to advance their professional soccer careers. We saw an opportunity to fulfill our company mission with this partnership, which is, “To use our business system to create a vibrant working family that nourishes our neighborhood.”  This partnership is a very exciting way for us to continue nourishing our neighborhood by helping these local athletes in the pursuit of their dream.”
